In the second quarter of this year, compared to categories such as beverages, convenient fast food, and seasonings, the share of frozen food increased slightly by 0.7% year-on-year. Among them, quick-frozen dumplings accounted for 24.75%, still the category with the largest market share, and quick-frozen Dim sum increased by 1.01% year on year, a large increase.
Consumers in different regions have varying preferences for prices and specifications: the price range of 5-10 yuan accounts for 39.4% in the southern region; The proportion of 500-1000g specification bands in northern regions reaches 34.7%; The low price of frozen dumplings is more evident in southern regions, while the trend of large packaging is more pronounced in northern regions.
Overall, consumers' demand for small packaged frozen dumplings has decreased, and the sales proportion of 300-500g specifications in various formats has decreased year-on-year; The sales proportion of the 500-1000g specification range in various business formats has increased year-on-year, and large packaging is more popular.
